The beginning of it all
Being environmentally conscious was not widely recognised two decades ago. Moreover, Canggu was remote from Bali's Seminyak and Kuta, which were more well-known to travellers in the early 2000s. Not many would venture outside. Daniel was determined to instill permaculture and alter people's perceptions of harmful eating practices in Canggu, Bali. Even though Serenity Bali was initially only a tiny establishment, the family was committed to upholding its values and creating a space where guests could enjoy yoga, the outdoors, and wholesome cuisine. everything at one location.

In addition, daily Bali Yoga lessons, reasonably priced yoga retreat packages, and numerous yoga teacher trainings are available all year long at The Serenity Eco-Guesthouse & Yoga. Every Monday and Wednesday from 5 to 6 p.m., an official Vipassana meditation group sitting center is hosted at Serenity Bali, a smoke- and alcohol-free guesthouse (for elderly pupils only). Inside Serenity, Alkaline Restaurant serves a wide range of raw foods that are all 100% vegan.
